Aly Ndiaye, aka Webster, was born and raised in the city of Québec. From a Sénégalese father and a French-Canadian mother, he has always been proud of his dual origin and sees himself as a dyed-in-the-wool SénéQuéb. A hip-hop artist and anti-racist militant, Webster has been doing rap music since 1995. Since 2009, he has traveled around Canada and the United-States to give hip-hop workshops in French, presenting at prestigious universities such as M.I.T. in Boston and Howard University in Washington D.C. He is supported by the Ambassade française de Washington, DC.
